Thompsons has played a central role in defending employees' rights and fighting social injustice for the last 85 years. We litigate aggressively and push legal boundaries to secure the best possible outcome for our clients. Our principle of only representing individuals, never employers, sets us apart from other law firms and our passion for supporting our clients has led us to being trusted to provide support to millions of trade union members in the UK today.

We have a formidable reputation among employers for fighting harder than any other law firm to secure maximum awards for our clients and we take on cases and win where others would see little prospect of success.

Our work for migrant workers includes fighting to protect their rights on issues such as unfair dismissal, equal pay, race discrimination, bullying and harassment, as well as injuries sustained through the careless or negligent acts of their employers. Our staff speak a range of different languages and, if necessary, we will arrange for an interpreter to be present during our discussions with you.

Our employment rights services are free of charge to migrant workers who are members of the trade unions we represent. We regret that we are unable to help non-union members with employment rights cases but would urge migrant workers to join a trade union to ensure the best possible protection of their interests at work.
