The RHAP Race Hate Awareness and Prevention project

The RHAP Race Hate Awareness and Prevention project is run by Preston and Western Lancashire Race Equality Council.  We offer free practical and emotional support to victims of racist crime.

Since 2007 we have supported over 250 victims of racist crime ranging from verbal abuse and criminal damage to violent assaults.  We have helped victims in a number of ways including helping people to report crimes to the Police, Mediation, getting rehoused and attending Court.

Victims can contact us on our free phone helpline 08088087398.

Our organisation also regularly gives talks and presentations to community groups and schools.
